Hashim bin Borham has 25 years of experience working with the public sector.
Currently serving as Head of Corporate and Training Development at Akademi Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia. He is a certified trainer by HRDF and appointed as a Champion for EKSA MAMPU Program under Prime Minister Department from 2014 until now.
His direct involvement in training with Akademi Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia, Intan Bukit Kiara, Institut Integriti Negeri Melaka, Kementrian Pengangkutan Jalan, Putrajaya, Unit Integriti and many others has made him a professional in the training arena.
He joins Road Transport Department (JPJ) in 2009 as the Enforcement Officer at Terengganu JPJ. Before joining JPJ, he held various positions starting as assistant community development officer at the department of social welfare, to the post of warden’s head, deal directly with drug addicts in terms of enforcement and drug rehabilitation process. Having direct involvement with drug prevention activities, sharpens his abilities in communication, creating and maintaining social relationships, involves in the negotiation process, decision making and analysing environmental problems more efficiently and quickly.
His direct involvements in 5S Quality Environment certification for JPJ Terengganu in 2010 gave him the opportunity to influence members of JPJ Terengganu to change their attitude and behavior for a betterment of the organization.
He leads the team towards maintaining organizational excellence, and JPJ Terengganu was recognised as an organization of high integrity. In the Management Competition, Enforcement Operations throughout Malaysia, JPJ Terengganu was awarded the 2nd place in 2012 and first place in 2013. This proves his capability in mobilizing the entire organization towards excellence in achieving the mission and vision of the department.
He graduated with a Diploma in Human Development (UPM, Serdang, Selangor 1991), Diploma in Guidance and Islamic Counselling (ABIM/UTM, Skudai, Johor, 1997), Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Development (UTM, Skudai, Johor 2004) and Executive Diploma in Law Enforcement (ILKAP / UKM Bangi, 2013).
