Ir. Riwayat B. Mansor has vast experience serving reputable Multi-National Corporations (MNCs) for almost 30 years. In the last 15 years of his career he held senior leadership positions of increasing responsibilities such as Director, Sr. Director, Vice President and General Manager.
His experience spanned across the globe as he had not only held leadership positions in Malaysia but he had also served as expatriate in United States and China for extended period of time. Apart from that he was also holding a position of Sr. Director for Global Operations – managing multiple geographies; namely, Malaysia, China, India, Mexico, Brazil and Hungary for a very large multinational organization.
His expertise is in the area of Business and General Management – covering Operations and Supply Chain/Logistics, Technical and Engineering, Business and Operations Excellence, Total Quality Management, Business Development, Customer Relationship Management and Support Services such as HR, Admin, Finance and IT.
He is very conversant with Lean and Six-Sigma, Concurrent Engineering, Strategic Planning and Management, Business Process Engineering, Performance Management, Balanced-Score Card, Total Quality Management, Product Life Cycle Management, Product Industrialization & Commercialization and various management concepts, tools and techniques.
For the past 2 ½ years Ir. Riwayat has been actively involved in transforming local organizations by deploying and imparting the knowledge of Lean Thinking and Management approach to them. He works extensively with Malaysian Productivity Corporations (MPC) in the promotion of Lean Thinking to organizations in various industries including Healthcare, Manufacturing, Academic, Constructions and Engineering Services industry.
Ir. Riwayat has been recognized widely during his career in the corporate world – leading organizations to win coveted awards such as Prime Minister Quality Award, Quality Management Excellence Award, Hibiscus Environmental Award. He also received Lean Specialist Award and Lean Champion Award from the government.
Ir. Riwayat graduated with B. Sc. in Mech. Eng. (Boston Uni., USA) and subsequently obtained his MBA (UUM). He is a Prof. Eng with BEM and IEM. He is also a Certified Professional Trainer with PSMB.
