Muhar Murad is the Executive Director and Principal Consultant of Lean Management Academy Sdn Bhd.
He holds a Master in Business Administration from Herriot Watt University, U.K. and Bachelor of Science (Engineering) from University of Glasgow, U.K.
Since the setup of Muhar & Associates in Jul 2014, he has coached more than 90 companies in Lean Manufacturing, Lean Construction & Lean Services.
He has more than 28 years of working experience in various multinational and local companies in Malaysia & Singapore. He is a seasoned Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain professional, Leader and Strategies. His expertise in the operational strategy, coaching, human relationships, planning and executing continuous improvement with the end in mind of adding value to any organisations.
His last 18 years of experience with an MNC started as a General Manager at their manufacturing plant in Pasir Gudang, Johor and his last 6 years as Senior Director of Operations Asia Pacific based in Malaysia/Singapore provided him with the entire spectrum of “People Coaching” in Operations and Supply Chain for Asia Pacific. In this MNC, together with his team he has led, or as a partner in a project, he has won three President Awards from U.S., Chicago Corporate office, in 2006, 2009 & 2013.
With his vast working experience in various management settings over various industries, Muhar can conceptualise his Consultancy, Coaching, and Facilitating sessions recognising the challenges of the “REAL WORLD”
Muhar was selected as a winner of the FranklinCovey Greatness Award in the category of “Execution Greatness." The presentation of this award took place at the FranklinCovey Anaheim Symposium in May 2006 at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel in California. This award was given due to his success (along with his team) in executing 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX).
