CT Engineering & Construction started its Lean Construction's training in May 2015. Their end in mind is to inject new knowledge for company growth. A total of 18 staff were involved in the training together with the Owner.
As ‘Waiting' time is the biggest “WASTE'” in any construction companies, I introduced the Last Planner System using Villego Simulation.
The LPS, emphasizing on collaborative planning using stickie’s for one of their on-going (short term) five-week project. It went very well. The plan now is to use LPS for a longer-term project involving building 56 units of bungalow & semi-detached factories. It is a 18 months project.
I trust this is one of the 1st construction companies in Malaysia using LPS.
