What is a good NPS score?
Given the NPS range of -100 to +100, a “positive” score or NPS above 0 is considered “good”, +50 is “Excellent,” and above 70 is considered “world class.” Based on global NPS standards, any score above 0 would be considered “good.” This simply means that the majority of your customer base is more loyal.

We have gained so many benefits from the LEAN manufacturing implementation. One of the biggest benefits we gained is on the transparency of data sharing among all the employees, even our foreign workers. Subsequently, this has enhanced the work effectiveness and efficiency.
LEAN manufacturing is a series of methods designed to minimize the waste of material and labor while maintaining or increasing levels of production. I would like to thank to En Muhar for letting us solve the problems that the company has faced for so many years. Last time, our boss went for so many training workshops and courses in order to solve production problems. We had spent so much time and money to improve our company operation. Although our company documentation system had changed so frequently, the results was still unstatisfied and ineffective. The management had meeting regularly, from once a week until change to daily meeting. However, we still always failed to ship our products to customers on time.
The things has changed after the two days Lean Management program by Mr Muhar, we sucessfully reduce our quality issues and also reduce our shipment delays problem. Today, all of us know the importance of 5S (cleaniness and neatness of a factory), we can search and get our tools and materials within a short time, which able to help us reduce non value activities in our factory. Our Lean Journey has been action-packed and remarkable. The highest authority in the company has been given a mandate that he/she is responsible to render commitment and support and create positive environment for its workers to implement Lean Management.
In the initial stage of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) session we learned technique to document, analyse and improve flow of information, process and materials. In doing so it helps us to understand our current stage; and from there the Lean methodology provides us a vision to plan and connect all improvement activities and eliminate waste. We gain an insight view to identify waste, reduce process cycle time and implement process improvement.
After 5 months of journey, we came to understand why Muhar & Associates has been selected by MTIB as one of its selected consulting firm to assist MTIB towards Lean Journeys for Malaysia SMEs Timber Entrepreneurs. Muhar & Associates effectively coached every participant to deliver results. The master taught my people how to fish, that’s very important. The commitment given to develop my people was strong.

We started our Lean Management in September 2017 and our last presentation was made it January 2018. After undergoing VSM Transformation plan we have better understanding about Lean Management, our production have more space, reduce time for transportation, shorter time to look for tools and Jig. Dee Noon Corporation was established on May 2006. This is the first time the company has been exposed to the LEAN Program that was led by En. Muhar from Muhar & Associates through MTIB. They have coached two of MTIB selected SMEs in 2014. It is a four months program from initial training to introduce Lean Methodologies followed by monthly consultancy to hand hold the implementation of the kaizen blitz that has been identified by the team during the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) process. VSM is one of the primary lean tools that were used besides others, i.e. Ishikawa Diagram, Whys’ Whys’ and as simple as spreadsheet.

Lean Thinking has provided us a new paradigm to move from a ‘GOOD’ to a ‘GREAT’ organizations. The biggest waste in construction industries is ‘waiting’, so we learned lean construction methodology called The Last Planner System (LPS), same thinking as pull planning in manufacturing.
